Monday, July 9th, 1990: Team doctors say reliever Jeff Fischer will need an additional two weeks recovery time from his torn labrum. "It's not pressing he return before he's ready", a concerned manager Rodgers stated.

Tough year for reeling Expos
A season removed from the world series has Montreal asking questions about their current status. A 35-53 record, attendance is down, but management remains optimistic. GM Dave Schaff said while i am not particularly pleased i am not ready to throw in the towel either. We'll be back again it's just been a team wide lean year.
